Authorities are investigating an early-morning collision on Byron Road in Fulton County that claimed the life of a Franklin teenager.

An 18-year-old Izard County man died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Fulton County. The Arkansas State Police (ASP) identified the victim as Reid Grant of Franklin. According to the ASP fatal crash summary, the collision occurred at approximately 3:55 a.m. on Byron Road, located southwest of Salem. Grant was reportedly in the lane of traffic when he was hit.
