Peace Lutheran Church in Cherokee Village is resuming its "GriefShare" program, a support initiative designed to assist individuals and families in coping with the loss of a loved one. The program begins this Tuesday and will run for 13 weeks, offering sessions every Tuesday in two time slots: 10 a.m. to noon and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Dawn Braun, a representative of the program, explains that "GriefShare" follows a nationally recognized framework. Each session includes a video presentation, group discussions on specific weekly topics, and a workbook for personal reflection at home. The program aims to provide emotional support and practical advice to those navigating the challenges of grief.
The sessions will take place at Peace Lutheran Church, and all interested participants are welcome to attend. For additional details, individuals can contact Jean at 870-856-3924.
