The Sharp County Master Gardeners will hold their monthly program this morning at 10:00 a.m. at the Ash Flat Library Conference Room. This month’s meeting will focus on seed preservation and techniques for fall gardening.
Master Gardeners Anita Hawkins and Betty Starnes will lead the program. Hawkins highlights that while summer gardening season is winding down, fresh vegetables can still be enjoyed into the fall months. Starnes will provide a demonstration on preserving seeds from this year’s harvest to use in future gardens.
The program is free and open to anyone interested in gardening or learning more about the Master Gardener program.
