The North Arkansas Dance Theatre (NADT) has announced open auditions for its annual Christmas production of "The Nutcracker," inviting children and adults to participate. Auditions will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the NADT Dance Academy in Batesville.
Participants must be at least five years old, but no prior dance experience or affiliation with NADT is required. Organizers confirmed that everyone who auditions will be cast in the production. NADT described the opportunity as a chance to "join the magic" of a cherished holiday tradition.
Performances of "The Nutcracker" are scheduled for the weekend before Thanksgiving at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville.
