The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will host two public meetings to gather community feedback on a proposed roadway connecting Jonesboro and Osceola. The meetings are part of a planning study to explore potential corridor options for the project.
The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Allen Park Community Center, located at 3609 Race Street in Jonesboro. The second meeting is scheduled for the following Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Osceola Community Center, located at 382 Country Club Road in Osceola.
ARDOT officials encourage residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to attend the meetings to learn more about the project and provide input. The agency will accept public comments on the proposed connector until 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 2.
