Registration is now open for the 30th annual Arvest Bank Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at Twin Lakes Golf Club in Mountain Home. The event, a two-person scramble, will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

The team registration fee is $120, and sponsorship opportunities are available. This year’s proceeds will be shared among three local nonprofit organizations: Spectrum Connection in Baxter County, the Mid-Marion County Rotary Club, and The Burlsworth Foundation in Boone County.

Arvest Bank associates annually select a “Charity of the Year” from Baxter, Marion, and Boone counties to determine the beneficiaries of the funds raised by the event. Last year, the tournament generated $18,000. Since its inception in 1996, the event has raised more than $299,000 for charitable causes.
