An Alicia man has been arrested in Craighead County on charges of possession and assault, according to local authorities.

John Keifer, 28, is currently being held at the Craighead County Detention Center. A probable cause hearing regarding the charges against him was conducted last week.

Keifer is scheduled to appear in Craighead County District Court on September 21. Additional details about the case had not been released as of this report.
