The Baxter County Historical Museum, located at 300 Bomber Boulevard in Mountain Home, is open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. Appointments and tours on other days can be arranged by contacting the Baxter County Historical & Genealogical Society at 870-425-2551.

The Museum, operated by the Society, preserves and celebrates the rich history of Baxter County. Alongside maintaining the museum, the Society collaborates with local authorities to protect and showcase the historic Casey House. The Casey House, situated in the northeast corner of the Baxter County Fairgrounds, is open to visitors during the annual Baxter County Fair. Tours outside the fair period can also be scheduled by request through the Society.

The Society hosts monthly meetings at the Donald W. Reynolds Library on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. These meetings are open to the public, although occasional location changes are announced on the Society’s website or Facebook page.

For further details about museum events, tours, or Society activities, the public is encouraged to reach out directly to the Baxter County Historical & Genealogical Society.
