A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a recent break-in at the North Arkansas Electric Cooperative's shop yard in Mountain Home.
Kevin Beck, 45, is now in custody following an investigation into the theft, which involved significant property losses. Authorities previously arrested James Patrick Lally, 45, of Mountain Home earlier this week. Lally stands accused of stealing 40 rolls of copper wire, chainsaws, various power tools, and a pickup truck belonging to the cooperative.
Lally faces multiple charges, including two counts of commercial burglary, one count of theft of property, and one count of breaking and entering a vehicle.
Beck, whose involvement and potential charges have not yet been detailed by authorities, has two prior felony arrests in Baxter and Marion Counties.
The North Arkansas Electric Cooperative, which serves customers in the region, did not release additional statements regarding the incident. Investigations into the break-in are ongoing.
