The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 2.5 earthquake early Tuesday morning near the Arkansas-Missouri border.
The quake was recorded at 7:04 a.m. on August 4 with an epicenter approximately 4.4 miles east-northeast of Steele, Missouri, and about 15.1 miles northeast of Blytheville, Arkansas, officials said. It had a depth of 6.2 miles.
There have been no reports of the quake being felt in the area as of now. Residents who experienced it can submit a report to the U.S. Geological Survey's website.
