First Community Bank announced Monday the promotion of Shane McComas to senior vice president, insurance producer with Community Insurance, a subsidiary of the bank.
McComas, who has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializes in group health insurance, employee benefits, commercial property and casualty insurance, and life insurance. In his new role, McComas will continue collaborating with businesses, organizations, and individuals to develop customized insurance solutions designed to meet their unique needs while providing protection for long-term success.
Anthony Clark, president of Community Insurance, praised McComas’s dedication to clients and his commitment to integrity and professionalism. McComas, a licensed insurance professional since 2003, has worked closely with Clark for much of his career, earning a reputation for reliable service and building lasting relationships with businesses and families throughout the region. Reflecting on his promotion, McComas emphasized the importance of service.

Outside the office, McComas is active in his community. He and his family are members of Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View and often travel to churches and revivals throughout the region to minister through music. At home in Prim, McComas and his wife of 26 years operate a cattle farm while raising their seven children.
