VAN BUREN COUNTY, Ark. — Mary Couch, 50, of Heber Springs was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Nov. 6 on State Highway 124, according to a preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police.
The report states that Couch was driving a 2024 Subaru Forester eastbound when the vehicle crossed the centerline and left the roadway. The SUV struck a tree, became airborne, and hit a second tree before overturning. Couch was the only person in the vehicle, according to the summary.
The weather was clear, and the road was dry at the time of the accident, the report noted. Tfc. Zoey L. Knuckels of the Arkansas State Police investigated the crash.
