The Izard County Board of Election Commissioners is set to review provisional ballots from the general election during a meeting at the courthouse in Melbourne on Monday at 1 p.m., according to county election officials.

The certification of Izard County's official election results is scheduled for Tuesday at noon, also at the courthouse. Provisional ballots, which are cast by voters whose eligibility is in question, are reviewed in accordance with Arkansas election laws to determine if they should be included in the final tally.

For residents interested in the election process, both meetings are open to the public at the courthouse in Melbourne.
