Two Winning Lottery Tickets Sold in Mountain Home, Including $25,000 Prize

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has brought significant prizes to Mountain Home recently, highlighting an exciting start to August for local lottery players.

A winning LOTTO ticket valued at $25,000 was sold at Casey’s General Store #3235, located at 859 Highway 62 E. The ticket matched six winning numbers—7, 10, 11, 21, 30, and 32—drawn during the August 1 LOTTO drawing, with a Bonus Number of 40. The winning ticket remains unclaimed as of now, with the holder having 180 days from the draw date to collect their prize.

Across the state, eight additional LOTTO players landed prizes above $500 for the August 1 drawing, including seven players who each won $1,500. These tickets were sold in cities such as Little Rock, Pine Bluff, Eureka Springs, Quitman, and Mayflower. More than 3,100 winning tickets were sold across Arkansas for the draw. The LOTTO jackpot now stands at $2.141 million for the next drawing, scheduled for Wednesday night.

Players also scored notable wins in the Cash 4 game. For the August 1 drawing, 32 tickets worth more than $500 were sold across Arkansas, including in communities like North Little Rock, El Dorado, and Newport. Thirteen players claimed prizes in excess of $2,000, with the largest wins including two $5,000 payouts and one prize of $8,100.

Adding to Mountain Home’s recent lottery success, a $300,000 top prize was claimed late last month by Algerdas K., a Baxter County resident, who purchased an Xtreme Money scratch-off ticket at 24 Hour Fuel at 403 Highway 62 E. Algerdas scratched the ticket on July 30 and, after double-checking the results, confirmed his win with his wife. She also expressed disbelief, noting the excitement made it difficult to sleep that night. The couple has not announced specific plans for their winnings but shared their intention to continue playing lottery games. According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, one $300,000 top prize remains available in the Xtreme Money game.
