JONESBORO, Ark. — Fans of the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” will have the opportunity to meet Austin St. John, the actor who played the original Red Ranger, during an appearance at a local comic book store next month.
St. John is scheduled to visit Must Love Toys & Comics, located at 2810 E. Highland Drive in Jonesboro, from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 18. The actor shared in a social media announcement that he plans to remain at the event past 8 p.m. if fans are still waiting.
The actor rose to fame in 1993 as Jason Lee Scott, the leader of the Power Rangers, when the iconic series first debuted. St. John later returned to the franchise as the Gold Ranger in “Power Rangers Zeo.”
