The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly arrest report, listing nine individuals taken into custody on various charges. Sheriff Charley Melton provided the following details.
Randy Hobbs, 63, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on July 27 for domestic battery in the third degree.
Tyler Burns, 35, also of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested the same day for probation or parole violations.
On July 29, Joseph Slade, 44, of Evening Shade, was taken into custody on a warrant issued by the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
That same day, Norris Erkman, 42, of Calico Rock, was arrested on multiple charges, including reckless driving, driving without a license, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Tony Stephens, 50, of Newark, was arrested on July 30 on a separate warrant from the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
On August 1, Noel Gene Loosey, 65, of Calico Rock, was arrested and is awaiting formal charges related to possession of a firearm by certain persons, a charge that commonly applies to individuals prohibited by law from possessing firearms.
That same day, Samantha Jackson, 45, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested for possession of an open container of alcohol and DWI.
On August 2, Clayton Henderson, 44, of Brockwell, was taken into custody for failure to register a vehicle, lacking proof of insurance, and driving on a suspended license.
Charles Branch, 40, of Franklin, was also arrested on August 2 and is awaiting formal charges for alleged assault and battery.
All individuals mentioned are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
