For the first time in school history, the Mountain Home High School swim teams will compete in front of a home crowd. The Bombers are set to take on the Harrison Goblins in a non-conference meet Thursday at the Mountain Home Community Center.

Head Coach Dalton Lind expressed excitement about the opportunity to host meets locally, marking a milestone for the program. While the addition of a home venue brings logistical challenges, Lind noted that it will significantly reduce the team’s travel time, a major benefit over previous seasons.

Coach Lind also highlighted the potential of both the boys’ and girls’ teams this year. He characterized the boys’ squad as capable of drawing attention within their competition, while acknowledging that the girls’ team is younger but has the talent to remain competitive.

Thursday’s meet begins the 2026-27 season for the Bombers and is free for the public to attend. Those unable to attend in person can watch the meet via livestream on the Bomber Sports Network at mhbombersports.com or the Mountain Home Athletics app.
