The Mountain Home Bombers tennis team is set to launch its 2026 season on Monday with matches in Searcy. The team will face opponents from Searcy, Texarkana, and Conway starting at 10 a.m.

This season marks a significant change for the Bombers, who have shifted from the 5A-East conference to the 5A-West. Head Coach Skyler King expressed optimism about the transition, citing both fresh talent and experienced varsity players on the roster.

“We’ve got a good mix of new faces and seasoned athletes,” King said, highlighting the potential of his team as it adjusts to the new conference.

King, the only school-employed coach on staff, emphasized the strength of his support system. “I’ve got an incredible group of staff members around me. I truly believe this is the best team of support in Arkansas,” he added.

The Monday event in Searcy signals the start of what promises to be an exciting season. The Bombers aim to make a strong showing in both individual and team matchups while navigating new competition in the 5A-West conference.
