BATESVILLE, Ark. — Batesville’s beloved White River Wonderland holiday display will return for the 2026 season, but with a temporary change in venue.
Due to a $25 million renovation at Riverside Park, this year’s festivities will be hosted at the Batesville Community Center, located along 20th Street and Chaney Drive. The display is set to open on Wednesday, Nov. 25, and will run nightly from 5 p.m. until midnight through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027. Admission is free, though donations are welcome.
Visitors will have the opportunity to walk or drive through illuminated trails designed to capture the holiday spirit. Parking will be available at the Batesville Community Center, Sara Low Memorial Dog Park, and Sutherland Park Municipal Golf Course. Organizers have ensured that all walking paths are accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
A favorite tradition, "Selfies with Santa," hosted by the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, will return on weekends. Children visiting Santa will receive a free book to take home.
City officials expressed a commitment to continuing the annual event during Riverside Park’s temporary closure. The park’s renovation is expected to be completed by the end of the year, allowing White River Wonderland to return to its original location for the 2027 season.
