The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a convicted sex offender has registered with local authorities following his release from the Arkansas Division of Correction.

Kristopher Jordan Drzka, who now resides at 81 County Road 161 in Mountain Home, is classified as a level 3 offender, indicating a high risk to re-offend. According to court records, Drzka was convicted of second-degree sexual assault on July 27, 2017. His conviction stemmed from an incident involving forced sexual contact with a 14-year-old female stranger.

At this time, Drzka is not wanted by law enforcement and has complied with registration requirements. The Sheriff’s Office emphasizes that this notice is intended to promote public awareness and safety, not to incite fear.

Officials also caution the public against using this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass registered sex offenders. Such actions could disrupt the ability of law enforcement to provide community notifications in the future.

Additional information on registered sex offenders can be obtained through the Arkansas Crime Information Center’s website or by contacting local law enforcement.
