Stetson Painter has been re-elected as State Representative for Arkansas House District 3, defeating challenger Carrie Huddleston in a decisive victory during Tuesday's election.

Painter garnered strong support in Baxter County, receiving 7,270 votes to Huddleston's 2,361. The margin was even wider in Fulton County, where Painter claimed 84% of the vote with 643 ballots cast in his favor, while Huddleston received 118 votes—16% of the total.

Following the results, Painter expressed gratitude for the support of District 3 voters and acknowledged the responsibility given to him by constituents. He noted that during his campaign, he engaged with voters who shared their priorities, which he plans to take back to the state's capital in Little Rock as he returns to the House of Representatives.

Painter called his re-election humbling and voiced a commitment to addressing the concerns of his district as he prepares for the upcoming legislative session.

District 3 covers portions of north-central Arkansas, including parts of Baxter and Fulton counties. Painter’s victory extends his representation of the area, with local support reflecting voter sentiment across the district.
