LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ark. — Tony Waldrupe has secured another term as Lawrence County sheriff.
According to early unofficial results from the Lawrence County Clerk’s Office, Waldrupe defeated challenger Cody Turner by a substantial margin. Waldrupe received 3,030 votes, while Turner garnered 817.
This marks a continued tenure for Waldrupe, who has served as sheriff in the county.
The results remain unofficial until certification. Local election authorities emphasize that certified results will follow standard verification processes.
Lawrence County residents also participated in statewide and local elections on Tuesday, though no other race results were documented in this report.
