Jonesboro, Ark. — U.S. Rep. Rick Crawford is set to extend his tenure in Congress after winning re-election in Arkansas’ 1st Congressional District.
The Associated Press projected Crawford’s victory on Tuesday night, as he overcame his challengers, Democrat Terri Yarbrough Green and Libertarian Steve Parsons.
Crawford, a Republican, has represented the district since 2011. The 1st Congressional District spans a large portion of eastern Arkansas, including the Mississippi River Delta region.
