The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host a USDA Food Distribution event in Randolph County on Saturday, November 4. The distribution will take place at Ravenden Springs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., or until supplies are depleted.
The USDA Food Distribution program functions as a temporary food pantry, making food available to families and individuals free of charge. Eligibility is determined based on household size and combined monthly income. Participants are reminded that households can only receive USDA food assistance once per month.
Those wishing to confirm eligibility are encouraged to contact the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas at 870-932-3663. Additionally, residents can receive text message notifications about future commodity distribution events by signing up online at https://manager.vivery.org/SMSSignup/19273.
The event is part of the USDA program, which strives to ensure equal access to resources. For more information about the program and its requirements, contact the Food Bank at the number provided above.
