The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 79-year-old woman from Melbourne, Arkansas. Sheriff Charley Melton stated that Judy Ruth Pennington was last seen on Tuesday, Aug. 1, around 2 p.m. at 2574 Jumbo Road in Melbourne.
Authorities believe Pennington may have traveled out of state. A phone ping suggests she might be near Waxahachie, Texas. Officials say she could be driving a white Ford Fusion with Arkansas license plate 949UOZ.
Pennington is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with blue eyes.
