JONESBORO, Ark.— Families from across the community came together Saturday night for a festive celebration hosted by Fullness of Joy Ministries.
The church, located at 2120 Thorn Street in Jonesboro, transformed its parking lot into a hub of activity for its annual Harvest Festival. Dozens of attendees enjoyed an evening featuring live music, a DJ, and plenty of family-friendly fun.
Event highlights included a "trunk or treat," where vehicles were decorated with tassels and flags, and trunks were filled with snacks, candy, and other treats for children and adults to collect. In addition to the festive atmosphere, children took part in hula-hoop competitions, while costumed visitors added a playful element to the evening.
Among the attendees was Alantist and her friends, who creatively dressed in pajama-style onesies for their Halloween costumes. Reflecting on how the idea came to life, Alantist shared, "I had brought it to their house because I was going to sleep in it. I saw someone at the trunk or treat wearing one of these, and I was like, we can wear these for Halloween."
The harvest event served as a lively celebration for the Jonesboro community, offering families an opportunity to connect and enjoy the autumn season together.
