A two-month investigation by the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force has led to criminal charges against more than 20 individuals and the seizure of narcotics and firearms, officials said.

According to the task force, the operation recovered 15 firearms and significant quantities of drugs, including over 1,400 grams of methamphetamine, 52 grams of MDMA, 25 grams of cocaine, and 10 grams of DMT. The arrests spanned five counties: Fulton, Izard, Stone, Independence, and Cleburne. In Fulton County, authorities took Michael Jackson and Matthew Bradley into custody. Victoria Watts and Jeff Smith were arrested in Izard County. In Stone County, suspects Jonah Sanders, Lequita Hutson, and Michael Wilson were detained. Additional felony charges were filed against individuals from Independence and Cleburne counties, law enforcement officials said.

The 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force comprises agencies working collaboratively to address drug-related crime in northern Arkansas. More details about the investigation were not immediately available, and officials have not released a complete list of charges.
