The Bull Shoals City Council is set to meet Thursday evening to consider a range of issues, including a private club permit application and proposed changes to alcohol-related zoning regulations. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Bull Shoals City Council chambers, located at 706 C.S. Woods Blvd.
On the agenda is Ordinance 2026-13, which would approve a private club permit application for Barnes Social LLC. The council will also review Resolution 2026-R-29, proposing an amendment to Ordinance 2025-15 to expand the zoning districts where alcohol can be sold, served, and stored.
Additional items include Resolution 2026-R-28, which addresses the 2027 millage; Resolution 2026-R-30, concerning budget appropriations; and Resolution 2026-R-32, which aims to align city millage rates with amounts collected by the county collector.
In other new business, the council will discuss updates to the Bull Shoals Municipal Code codification, a 2026 cleanup resolution, and a resolution modifying appointments to the Board of Zoning Adjustment. An interlocal agreement with the county for court services is also on the agenda.
Under old business, the council will reconsider options for a low-voltage integrator company for ACS/CCTV systems, discuss the ALS building, and review matters related to staffing the animal control officer position. Additionally, the council will discuss the city covering half the wages of a county dispatch employee, with these expenses to be included in the 2027 budget.
Appointments and council comments are also planned. Steve Rustin is listed for appointment to the Planning and Zoning Committee. The meeting will conclude with comments from citizens and the city’s mayor.
The meeting is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend to stay informed about city developments.
