The 24th annual Mountain View Fall Bluegrass Festival is set to bring three days of music to the Ozark Folk Center State Park from Nov. 12 through Nov. 14. Headliners include The Gibson Brothers, Nothin’ Fancy, and Carson Peters & Iron Mountain. The event, held at the park’s indoor Ozark Highlands Theater, will also feature performances by The Amanda Cook Band, Monroe Crossing, David Parmley, Larry Stephenson, Tacie & The Sunshine Band, The Chigger Hill Boys & Terri, local band 5 South, the Music Roots Ensemble, and the Simply Southern Cloggers.
The festival kicks off Thursday, Nov. 12, with an all-gospel show starting at 6 p.m. Performers include 5 South, Tacie & The Sunshine Band, Nothin’ Fancy, Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, and The Chigger Hill Boys & Terri. Tickets for gospel night are $20 for standard seating or $30 for premium seating in the first five rows.
On Friday and Saturday, the event schedule includes matinee shows from noon to 4 p.m. and evening performances beginning at 5:45 p.m. A single ticket, priced at $25 for standard seating and $40 for premium, will grant access to both shows on the same day.
Friday’s matinee opens with the Simply Southern Cloggers at 11:45 a.m., followed by sets from Tacie & The Sunshine Band, Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, The Amanda Cook Band, Monroe Crossing, and The Gibson Brothers. Saturday’s matinee includes performances by The Amanda Cook Band, Monroe Crossing, Larry Stephenson, The Gibson Brothers, and David Parmley. The Saturday evening show opens with the Music Roots Ensemble, a group of young musicians from the Mountain View area, and continues with Monroe Crossing, The Amanda Cook Band, Larry Stephenson, David Parmley, and The Gibson Brothers.
The festival will conclude each show with a cash drawing, offering $100 nightly and $200 on Saturday night.
Tickets and reserved seating are available at MountainViewBluegrass.com or by calling 870-501-5105. While ticket questions should be directed to the festival organizers, the event is produced by the nonprofit Mountain View Bluegrass Association, which uses proceeds to fund the Music Roots program. This initiative teaches traditional music to area youth. The association hosts the festival twice a year, on the second weekends in March and November.
The Skillet Restaurant, located on the park grounds, will offer buffets before Thursday’s concert and between shows on Friday and Saturday, with operating hours spanning 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The park’s duplex cabin rooms include shuttle service to the theater, restaurant, and Craft Village. Room reservations can be made at ArkansasStateParks.com or by calling 800-264-3655.
Looking ahead, the 2027 Spring Mountain View Bluegrass Festival is scheduled for March 11-13 and will feature acts such as The Little Roy and Lizzy Show, Lakeside, Catahoula Drive, Ramblin’ Heart, Rick Faris Band, Blue Highway, Nick Dumas & Branchline, and The Lonesome River Band. Tickets for the spring festival will go on sale beginning Jan. 2.
