Highland High School’s Student Council is organizing a school supplies drive today at the Ash Flat Walmart. The drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with student volunteers stationed at the store’s entrances.
Inside the store, donation bins will be available for contributions. According to organizers, the supplies most in need include crayons, colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, scissors, pencils, tissue boxes, pencil-top erasers, pens, wide-ruled loose-leaf paper, pocket folders, notebooks, and disinfecting wipes.
Community members are encouraged to participate in this effort to support local students. All donations are welcomed and appreciated.
