Independence County 4-H members will host a community Makers Market on November 14, showcasing their handcrafted creations while supporting youth programming. The event will take place in the Extension Office parking lot at 1770 Myers Street in Batesville, near the Sheriff’s Office.

The market will offer a variety of handmade goods and interactive activities, including Perler bead keychains, magnets, pottery, woodwork, 3D-printed projects, and crocheted items. Community members can also enjoy booths featuring a slime bar, baked goods, and mental skill activities.

Holly Stout, Kinley Norris, and Jacqueline Hodges, local representatives of 4-H, previewed the upcoming event during a recent interview with Chad Whiteaker. Stout highlighted her Perler bead creations as part of the lineup, while Hodges mentioned other 4-H programs scheduled for spring, such as a chicken show and a fashion review set for March 20.

The Makers Market offers an opportunity for local youth to demonstrate their skills and connect with the community through unique craft offerings and engaging activities.
