The Lawrence County Fair pageants will take place next Saturday at the Bill McCurley Gymnasium on the Sloan-Hendrix School campus in Imboden. Those wishing to participate must submit their applications by the end of today, according to pageant director Georgia Ratliff.
Ratliff emphasized that applications must be delivered promptly to ensure contestants can compete. Individuals who did not mail their applications on time may drop them off at Ratliff’s residence, where a mail slot is available on her porch to accept the documents.
A rehearsal for the pageants is scheduled for Friday evening.
The pageants are part of the broader Lawrence County Fair, which opens Monday, August 10, and runs through Saturday, August 15, at the Imboden fairgrounds. The fair will feature additional events, exhibits, and activities for the community throughout the week.
