The Mountain Home Police Department will receive a $250 donation from Tractor Supply Co. on Saturday, Nov. 7, as part of the retailer’s National Hometown Heroes Day initiative.
The Mountain Home Tractor Supply store, located at 1025 Highway 62 East, will host a community event starting at 10 a.m. to honor local first responders. Activities will include touch-a-truck displays featuring emergency vehicles and a “thank a hero” letter-writing station for attendees to express their gratitude to local law enforcement and other first responders. The event is free and open to the public.
The police department is the only Twin Lakes area recipient included in Tractor Supply’s list of 32 Arkansas organizations receiving donations as part of this program. In total, $8,000 is being distributed across the state. Other organizations on the list include the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Arkansas, fire departments in cities such as Cabot, Paragould, and Springdale, and the Museum of Veterans and Military History.

As part of the initiative, police officers, firefighters, veterans, and active-duty service members who register with Tractor Supply’s Neighbors Club loyalty program will be eligible for a 10% discount.
