Smash Mouth, the California rock band renowned for songs such as “All Star” and “Walking on the Sun,” is set to perform at 7 p.m. Friday, October 30, at the Ed Coulter Performing Arts Center in The Sheid on the Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH) campus.

Tickets are priced at $40 for adults and $20 for students. They can be purchased online at thesheid.com or by calling 870-508-6280.

The band, which rose to prominence in the late 1990s, is remembered for hits including “Walking on the Sun,” “Can’t Get Enough of You Baby,” and “Then the Morning Comes.” Their 1999 album, *Astro Lounge*, achieved multi-platinum status, and “All Star” earned them a Grammy nomination. Smash Mouth also cemented its place in pop culture through the 2001 animated film *Shrek*, which featured “All Star” and the band’s rendition of The Monkees’ “I’m a Believer.” The group marks the 25th anniversary of their version of “I’m a Believer” this year.

The current lineup differs from the group that gained fame in the late ’90s and early 2000s. Founding lead singer Steve Harwell retired due to health issues in 2021 and passed away in September 2023 at age 56. Since 2022, Zach Goode, a Los Angeles-based singer and voice actor, has served as the band’s frontman. Goode performs alongside bassist Paul DeLisle, the sole remaining founding member, as well as keyboardist Michael Klooster, drummer Randy Cooke, and guitarist Sean Hurwitz.

The Mountain Home performance is part of the band’s ongoing “Go For The Moon 2026” world tour. Smash Mouth is also promoting a forthcoming album titled *Mercury Comet,* set for a 2026 release.
