Saturday will see cooler weather across northern Arkansas, with temperatures climbing only into the upper 70s to lower 80s, according to the National Weather Service. Breezy conditions are also anticipated, as northwest winds between 10 to 15 mph may occasionally gust up to 25 mph.
The weekend outlook follows minimal rainfall in the area. On Friday, precipitation amounted to just 0.12 inches, while a fast-moving overnight storm into Saturday brought additional rainfall to some communities. Highland recorded 0.46 inches over the past 24 hours, and Salem measured slightly higher at 0.53 inches.
Looking ahead, dry conditions are expected to persist into the new week, offering a stretch of stable weather for the region.
