Ash Flat’s annual fall residential clean-up is underway and will continue through Thursday, offering residents an opportunity to dispose of items they no longer need or use.

City officials have encouraged locals to gather items such as old furniture, unused toys, and other odds and ends that may be taking up space in homes or yards. The service is free of charge, but residents are reminded to leave their items at the roadside for collection by 8 a.m. Monday morning.

Hazardous materials are not accepted as part of the program, and regular household trash that would normally be collected during weekly garbage service should not be mixed with clean-up items. For additional information, residents are advised to contact local officials.

The fall clean-up offers a convenient way for the community to maintain tidy homes and properties ahead of the winter months, all while benefiting from free removal of qualifying items.
