The Flippin City Council is set to meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the Flippin District Courtroom, with a full agenda that includes budget discussions, departmental updates, and street improvement proposals.

Council members will begin by reviewing the September financial report before hearing updates on Police Department and Fire Department statistics for the same month. Flippin Police Chief John Spence and Fire Chief David Hannah are slated to present their respective departmental numbers.

A discussion on Ordinance No. 2026-374, to be presented by Jessica Beals and Kim Wise, is also on the agenda. In addition, the Council will consider amended budgets for 2026 and review the establishment of new checking accounts.

Street improvements are expected to be a key topic of the evening. Anita Hannah will deliver a presentation on potential projects, while Chief Hannah will request an amendment to the budget to cover repairs for a 2014 brush truck.

An ordinance related to business licensing, presented by the Flippin Fire Department, will also be up for discussion. Mayor Heith Hogan is expected to introduce new business items before the meeting concludes.

Residents are encouraged to attend the session, which is open to the public.
