The second week of early voting began Monday across North Arkansas, with hundreds of voters participating in the process in several counties.
According to officials, Sharp County has seen 1,952 early ballots cast so far. Izard County has recorded 940 early voters, while Lawrence County has counted 972, and Fulton County has reported 841.
Early voting will continue through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with additional hours on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is also an opportunity to vote early on Monday, November 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For voters planning to cast their ballots on Election Day, polling locations will open statewide on Tuesday, November 3, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. To vote, you must present a government-issued photo identification in accordance with Arkansas state law.
Those unsure of their polling location or who wish to view their specific ballot in advance can use the "Voter View" tool on the Arkansas Secretary of State's website. Additionally, absentee ballots can still be requested by contacting your county clerk's office directly.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the early voting period or make necessary preparations to participate on Election Day to ensure their voices are heard.
