MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ark. — Stone Bank will honor area veterans and their families with a morning of live music, a special salute to service members, and a complimentary lunch this Friday during its annual Veterans Appreciation Event.
The free, public gathering will take place at the Stone Bank Pavilion, located at 802 E. Main St. The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with a performance by Prince and the Paupers. At 11 a.m., a veterans' salute will highlight the event before lunch is served at noon.
“Mountain View has a strong veteran community, and this annual event gives us an opportunity to come together and recognize the men and women who have served,” said April Wilkins, manager of Stone Bank’s Mountain View branch. “We look forward to welcoming veterans, their families, and the community for a morning dedicated to honoring their service.”
Stone Bank has made this event a tradition as a way to celebrate local veterans and their contributions. All veterans, their families, and members of the public are invited to attend.
