Ash Flat’s fall residential clean-up begins today and continues through Thursday, giving residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items free of charge.
City officials are encouraging residents to gather items they no longer need, including worn-out furniture, toys, and miscellaneous clutter from homes and yards. Items should be placed roadside by 8 a.m. on Monday morning for collection. Hazardous materials will not be accepted, and residents are reminded not to mix regular household trash—typically collected during weekly pick-ups—with clean-up items.
This annual service aims to help residents simplify their spaces and maintain a cleaner community. For additional guidelines or questions, city officials recommend contacting the proper municipal office.
The clean-up service will end on Thursday for this year’s fall event.
