JONESBORO, Ark. – A crash with injuries disrupted traffic on Interstate 555 in Jonesboro on Sunday afternoon, the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) reported.
The incident occurred at 2:05 p.m. on the northbound on-ramp of Exit 44, according to ARDOT. As a result, the right lane, shoulder, and on-ramp were temporarily blocked while emergency responders worked at the scene.
Traffic cameras showed the crash was cleared by 2:38 p.m., allowing normal traffic flow to resume. Injuries were reported, though the severity remains unknown at this time.
Drivers are urged to remain cautious in the area and to watch for updates from ARDOT regarding road conditions.
