The Treasures in the Ozarks Arts and Crafts Show continues today, Sunday, at the Hardy Civic Center. Organized by the Arts Center of North Arkansas, the event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and highlights the work of local artisans as well as exhibitors from other areas.
Tony McMickle, manager of the Arts Center, encouraged the community to come out and explore the variety of handcrafted items available for purchase. "We invite everyone to shop local and support these talented artisans," McMickle said in a statement.
Hourly prize giveaways will also take place during the event. Attendees have the opportunity to win a ham or turkey, with the prizes donated by Harps in Highland and Bill's Cash Saver in Hardy.
The Hardy Civic Center is located in the heart of the community and provides a space for local residents to come together and celebrate regional artists and crafters. The event offers a chance to enjoy unique creations while supporting small businesses and makers from across the area.
