A second man has been arrested in connection with a break-in at the North Arkansas Electric Cooperative's shop yard in Mountain Home. Authorities confirmed that 45-year-old Kevin Beck is now in custody, following earlier developments in the case.
The investigation began earlier this week when 45-year-old James Patrick Lally of Mountain Home was taken into custody. Lally is accused of stealing forty rolls of copper wire, chainsaws, power tools, and a cooperative vehicle. He faces charges of two counts of commercial burglary, one count of theft of property, and breaking and entering a vehicle.
Officials did not immediately release details on the specific charges Beck now faces. However, court records show Beck has two prior felony arrests in Baxter and Marion counties.
Law enforcement continues to investigate the incident. The North Arkansas Electric Cooperative has not publicly commented on the arrests or the recovery of the stolen items.
