JONESBORO, Ark. — Christ Ambassadors Ministries International is joining forces with the Northeast Arkansas Food Bank to help alleviate hunger among underserved residents in the Jonesboro community.
The church held a ceremony on Tuesday morning to mark the launch of its new food distribution program. The initiative, based at the church’s facility off Highway 1 South, offers free meals to anyone in need on a monthly basis.
“We know the prices of food are at the high side,” Bishop Ani Jacob said. “That’s why, as a church, we stepped in to make sure we help those that are in need.”
Church leaders stated that this partnership is just the beginning. Looking ahead, they plan to collaborate with additional organizations to expand their efforts in the fight against hunger.
The program comes at a time when rising food prices continue to strain household budgets, particularly for vulnerable populations.
Those seeking assistance or more information are encouraged to visit the church’s location or contact Christ Ambassadors Ministries International directly.
