The Mountain Home Bombers return to Bomber Stadium on Friday night for a highly anticipated matchup against the Lake Hamilton Wolves. Both teams have had strong seasons, with the Bombers standing at 6-1 and Lake Hamilton entering the game undefeated at 7-0. This 6A-West contest will play a crucial role in shaping the conference standings.

This marks the seventh meeting between the two schools since the series began in 2020. The Wolves currently hold a 4-2 all-time advantage, but the Bombers have the momentum after winning the last two matchups. Mountain Home decisively defeated Lake Hamilton 42-7 during last year’s contest.

The Bombers are entering a critical stretch of their schedule, as their next three games are against the top teams in the 6A-West. Speaking ahead of Friday’s clash, Mountain Home head coach Ryan Ary expressed confidence in his team’s readiness for the challenge. "Now is as good a time as any to face them," Ary said.

Lake Hamilton, now led by former Mountain Home assistant coach Justin Bingham, brings a dynamic passing offense to Bomber Stadium. This is a departure from the traditional wishbone attack the Wolves have employed in previous years. Ary acknowledged the difficulty of defending Lake Hamilton’s new offensive scheme, calling it a test unlike anything the Bombers have faced so far this season.

Despite already clinching a playoff berth, Ary emphasized the importance of staying focused on Friday’s game. The outcome could significantly impact playoff seeding.

Kickoff at Bomber Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday. At halftime, Mountain Home will honor the 1986 and 2006 Bomber football teams with a special recognition ceremony.

Fans can listen to the game on Classic Hits 101.7 or watch online via the Bomber Sports Network on YouTube, MHBomberSports.com, and the Mountain Home Athletics app.
