JONESBORO, Ark. — Jonesboro City Hall will close at noon on Friday due to an unexpected air conditioning problem, city officials announced.
The closure applies to the building located at 300 S. Church St., and the decision was made to ensure the comfort and safety of employees and visitors while the issue is addressed, the city said in a statement.
“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue,” the city’s announcement stated.
Other City of Jonesboro facilities and services will not be affected and will continue to operate on their regular schedules.
