Residents of Lynn, Arkansas, are invited to attend the town’s inaugural Trick-or-Treat in the Park on Tuesday, October 31, 2026. Hosted in Lynn Park, the family-friendly event will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or until visitors stop arriving. Admission is free.
The event will feature a Candy Trail with decorated stations providing Halloween treats for children, according to organizers. Activities will include a pumpkin bean bag toss and a witch hat ring toss, both set up at the park pavilion. Attendees can also visit the gazebo for festive photo opportunities, and the park’s playground will be open throughout the evening.
For the adults accompanying trick-or-treaters, free coffee and hot chocolate will be served inside the Community Center.
Event organizers are calling on families, local businesses, churches, and organizations to contribute to the Candy Trail by setting up decorated candy stations along the path. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own candy and supplies, such as tables, canopies, or wagons, and to register in advance to assist with planning. Participation is free, and creativity in setup and costumes is strongly encouraged.
The event is scheduled to start after many nearby Halloween festivities conclude, giving families an additional opportunity to celebrate. A map of the event setup is available on the event’s Facebook page.
Organizers hope the new tradition will bring the community together for years to come. For more information or to register as a candy station volunteer, visit the event page or access the registration form online.
