The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has issued its 2026 "Do Not Trick-or-Treat" list, aimed at helping families plan safe Halloween festivities. The list identifies addresses associated with registered Level 3 and Level 4 sex offenders, as designated under the Arkansas Sex Offender Registration Act (A.C.A. § 12-12-901 et seq.).

Residents are urged to avoid these addresses when trick-or-treating or engaging in other Halloween activities involving children. The Sheriff's Office reminds the public that individuals on the list are prohibited from participating in Halloween celebrations that involve contact with children, including handing out candy, decorating for the holiday, or hosting events.

The addresses listed are as follows:

**Brockwell** • 656 Chapel Hill Loop, Brockwell, AR 72517

**Franklin** • 8075 E AR Hwy 56, Franklin, AR 72536

The Sheriff’s Office notes that residents identified on this list are registered with their office under either Level 3 or Level 4 classifications. Arkansas designates Level 3 offenders as "high risk" and Level 4 offenders as "sexually dangerous persons." The full registry of sex offenders, including Level 2 offenders who meet public disclosure requirements, can be viewed online at [izardcountysheriff.org](https://www.izardcountysheriff.org/sex_offenders.php).

It is important to note that Level 1 offenders and some Level 2 offenders are excluded from public notification under state law. Additionally, individuals incarcerated in the Arkansas Department of Correction's Benny Magnus Unit are not included in the list, though they may appear in search engine results.

The Sheriff's Office urges residents to share this information with family, friends, and neighbors to create a safer environment for children during Halloween.
