A job fair will take place today in Walnut Ridge, offering area residents an opportunity to connect with potential employers and career resources. The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1217 West Main Street, adjacent to Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
The Arkansas Workforce Connections, Lawrence Healthcare, and the Lawrence County Area Chamber of Commerce have partnered to organize the event. These organizations aim to facilitate employment opportunities while providing tools for job seekers to navigate the hiring process.
In support of this effort, the Arkansas Workforce Connections Mobile Workforce Center will be onsite. The mobile unit is equipped with computers and internet access and will be staffed by professionals who can assist visitors in exploring available positions and completing job applications.
