Early voting for the upcoming election begins today, offering registered voters in Arkansas the chance to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day. According to state officials, early voting will run from October 19 through November 2.

Polling locations will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early voting allows voters to avoid potential long lines and time constraints on Election Day, which is set for November 3. Polling sites statewide will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day.

Those who are unable to vote in person due to unavoidable circumstances may qualify to vote absentee. Applications for absentee ballots can be obtained from local county clerks’ offices. Early voting, however, will close one day prior to Election Day on November 2.

For more details, voters are encouraged to contact their local election offices or visit official county election websites.
